Hi... Welcome to Forefront Learning. We want you to know we live this on a daily basis. We want to share our story with you.
Rebecca has worked in the Garden City Public Schools for the last 18 years. She spent 12 years teaching in a first grade cross categorical self-contained classroom. Rebecca then taught both first and third grade. She is currently working at Burger, the School for Autism as the technology resource instructor.
Ken has been involved with technology for 40 years. For the last 6 he has been instructing and developing new programs in the computer networking area at the college level.
We have been married for five years. Our combined backgrounds provide a unique skill set which can benefit both you and your child. We are raising two children from Rebecca’s previous marriage. Although we do not have a child who has autism, the youngest son has been diagnosed with ADHD (an emotional impairment) and dyslexia. He has also been described by doctors as having “autistic like symptoms”. My older son has been diagnosed with ADD and another form of dyslexia. Many doctors are now feeling that ADD and ADHD fall under the umbrella of PDD and are simply very mild forms of autism.
